Summertime means a lot of things in Montana – long days, camping trips, outdoor festivals. But perhaps no event exemplifies summer as much as the fair. Thrilling rides, giant stuffed animals, fried food, rodeos, concerts, contests, exhibits, and more, all happening for days on end.
And boy, are there are lot of fairs in Montana! Nearly every county in the state hosts at least one, and from mid-July through the beginning of September, there are always at least a few underway.
